World University of Bangladesh Organizes Workshop on “English in Electronic Media & Audio-Visual Production”

The WUB Career Counselling Center of World University of Bangladesh (WUB) organized a workshop titled "English in Electronic Media & Audio-Visual Production" under its Career Accelerator-21 initiative on 18 July 2026 at the Founding Treasurer Morsheda Choudhury Auditorium.

The programme was graced by Professor Dr. M. Nurul Islam, Pro-Vice Chancellor, WUB, as the Chief Guest, while Professor Zaki Imam, Registrar, WUB, attended as the Special Guest. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Gautam Barua, Communication Expert, National University, Bangladesh, and Guest Faculty, WUB, who shared practical insights into the effective use of English in electronic media and audio-visual production.

The session focused on developing students' communication skills, media presentation techniques, scriptwriting, and the fundamentals of audio-visual content production. The interactive workshop provided participants with valuable knowledge and practical guidance to enhance their career readiness in the media and communication sector.

The programme concluded with a lively question-and-answer session and a group photograph, marking another successful initiative of the WUB Career Counselling Center in equipping students with industry-relevant skills.
