Career Counselling Center (CCC) of the World University of Bangladesh (WUB)
successfully organized a workshop titled “Corporate Behaviour for Future Professionals”
under its Career
Accelerator-22 series on 20 July 2026 at the Founding
Treasurer Morsheda Choudhury Auditorium.
The workshop
aimed to prepare students for the corporate world by enhancing their
understanding of professional ethics, workplace culture, communication skills,
leadership, teamwork, and other essential employability skills. The session
provided participants with practical insights into corporate expectations and
the professional competencies required to succeed in today's competitive job
market.
Professor
Dr. M. Nurul Islam, Pro-Vice Chancellor, World University of Bangladesh, attended the program as the Chief Guest. In
his address, he emphasized the importance of developing strong professional
values, positive attitudes, and effective communication skills alongside
academic excellence to build successful careers.
Professor
Zaki Imam, Registrar, World University of Bangladesh, attended the workshop as the Special Guest. He
encouraged students to continuously develop their soft skills, professionalism,
and adaptability to meet the evolving demands of the modern workplace.
The workshop
was conducted by Professor Mohammed Nasimul Azim, Head &
Director, Department of Tourism & Hospitality Management, World University
of Bangladesh, as the Key Speaker. Drawing on his extensive corporate
leadership experience, he shared practical knowledge on corporate etiquette,
workplace behavior, professional communication, leadership, teamwork, and
career development strategies.
The event
reflected WUB's continued commitment to equipping students with
industry-relevant skills and preparing them for successful professional careers
through practical learning initiatives.
