World University of Bangladesh Organizes Seminar on “Proven Strategies to Improve CGPA in Academic Results”

The Career Counselling Center (CCC) of the World University of Bangladesh (WUB) successfully organized a seminar titled “Proven Strategies to Improve CGPA in Academic Results” under its Career Accelerator-20 series on 14 July 2026 at the Founding Treasurer Morsheda Choudhury Auditorium.

The program was graced by Professor Dr. M. Nurul Islam, Pro-Vice Chancellor, World University of Bangladesh as the Chief Guest, while Prof. Zaki Imam, Registrar of WUB, attended as the Special Guest.

The seminar featured an insightful keynote presentation by Dr. Proshanta Kumar Sarker, Visiting Faculty, Department of English, World University of Bangladesh, British Council Validated Core Skills Trainer (Dubai, UAE), and Resource Person at the Regional Public Administration Training Centre (RPATC), Dhaka. Through practical examples and interactive discussions, he shared proven strategies for improving CGPA, including effective note-taking, critical reading, time management, examination preparation, and techniques for reducing academic stress..

Students from various departments actively participated in the seminar and engaged in an interactive discussion. The program concluded with a vote of thanks, reaffirming the Career Counselling Center’s commitment to supporting students' academic excellence and overall development.
