World University of Bangladesh Mechanical Engineering,Department Organizes Tree Plantation Program

Department of Mechanical Engineering, World University of Bangladesh successfully organized its inaugural Tree Plantation Program on 03 August 2026 at the World University of Bangladesh campus. The initiative aimed to promote environmental awareness and contribute to creating a greener and more sustainable campus.

The program was attended by Prof. Dr. Mizanur Rahman, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering; Prof. A.K.M. Amirul Islam; Assistant Professors Md. Sohel Rana, Dr. Nahiyan Al-Azad, and Masud Rana; and Lecturers Zayeed Bin Mamun and Yusuf Ali. The faculty members appreciated the initiative and encouraged students to take greater responsibility for environmental sustainability and community engagement.

The successful completion of the program marks an important beginning for WUBMC’s activities and reflects its commitment to promoting sustainability and environmental responsibility among students. The Mechanical Engineering looks forward to organizing more initiatives that contribute to a greener campus and a sustainable future.
