WUB Holds ELC Certificate Awarding Ceremony for Fall Semester 2025

The World University of Bangladesh (WUB), through its Career Counseling Centre (CCC), organized the English Language Course (ELC) Completion Certificate Awarding Ceremony for the successful students of Fall Semester 2025 on 09 June 2026 at the Founding Treasurer Morsheda Choudhury Auditorium.

The ceremony celebrated the achievements of students who successfully completed the English for Academic Excellence (EAE) Course, a specialized program designed to enhance English language proficiency through continuous practice and interactive learning. The course focuses on developing the four fundamental language skills—Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing—enabling students to communicate effectively and confidently in academic, professional, and social settings.

The program was graced by Prof. Dr. M. Nurul Islam, Pro-Vice Chancellor of World University of Bangladesh, as the Chief Guest. The Special Guests included Prof. Zaki Imam, Registrar; Prof. Dr. AQM Shafiul Azam, Dean of Academic Affairs and Research; and Prof. M. Moqbul Hossain, Controller of Examinations. Deans, faculty members, administrative officials, and students from various departments of the university also attended the ceremony.

The event reflected WUB’s ongoing commitment to promoting academic excellence, professional preparedness, and holistic student development. Students expressed their appreciation for the Course and highlighted its positive impact on their confidence and communication abilities.

The ceremony concluded with the distribution of certificates among the successful students.
