The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the World
University of Bangladesh (WUB) organized a faculty training session titled “Turning BAC Training into Actionable Accreditation Results”
to enhance institutional readiness for accreditation and quality improvement.
The training session was conducted by Mr. Farhan Mahbub on behalf
of IQAC and was attended by faculty members from various departments of the
university. The session focused on effectively translating insights gained from
Bangladesh Accreditation Council (BAC) training into practical and actionable
strategies aligned with accreditation requirements.
Mr. Farhan Mahbub highlighted key aspects of Outcome-Based
Education (OBE), documentation practices, Self-Assessment Report (SAR)
preparation, and evidence-based academic planning. He emphasized the critical
role of faculty engagement in sustaining quality assurance practices and
achieving successful accreditation outcomes.
The interactive session provided participants with an opportunity
to discuss accreditation-related challenges and gain clarity on implementing
BAC guidelines within academic and administrative processes.
This initiative reflects WUB’s ongoing commitment to academic
excellence, continuous quality enhancement, and compliance with national
accreditation standards. IQAC plans to organize similar capacity-building
programs in the future to further strengthen quality assurance mechanisms
across the university.
