Orientation and Reunion – Spring 2026

The Department of Business Administration of World University of Bangladesh organized a “Orientation and Reunion” program on January 24, 2026, at the World University of Bangladesh. The program was arranged under the coordination of the Departmental Business Club with the objective of fostering interaction among fresher’s, alumni, faculty members, and university administrators.

The program was honored by the presence of Professor Dr. M. Nurul Islam, Pro-Vice Chancellor of World University of Bangladesh, as the Chief Guest. Senior university officials, including Professor Zaki Imam, Registrar; Joint Registrars, Controller of Examinations, and Deputy Controllers of Examinations, were also present at the event as special guests.

Distinguished faculty members present at the program included Professor Dr. Selim Ahmed, Dean, Faculty of Business Studies; Professor Dr. Md. Abdul Jalil, Dean, Faculty of Arts and Humanities; and Professor Dr. Md. Mizanur Rahman. The event was further enriched by the participation of Brigadier General Md. Saifullah, Directing Staff of the Armed Forces War Course, National Defense College. All faculty members of the Department of Business Administration attended the program. The session was chaired by Issa Ahmed, Head of the Department of Business Administration.

The program commenced with an inaugural address by the Chair, followed by a formal welcome and guidance speech delivered by the Chief Guest. Senior faculty members delivered motivational addresses to the newly admitted students, emphasizing academic excellence, professional development, and ethical leadership.

The program concluded with a cultural segment, adding a celebratory dimension to the event. The program was smoothly conducted by members of the Business Club.
