WUB Alumnus Md. Minhazul Islam Munna Secures Prestigious Fully Funded PhD Scholarship at the University of Limerick, Ireland

Congratulations to our distinguished alumnus, Md. Minhazul Islam Munna, on achieving a prestigious fully funded PhD scholarship at the University of Limerick, Ireland!

We are delighted to share that Md. Minhazul Islam Munna, a graduate of the BSc in Computer Science & Engineering program at the World University of Bangladesh (WUB), has been awarded a fully funded PhD scholarship at the Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering / Bernal Institute, University of Limerick, Ireland.

His PhD research is funded through the Higher Education Authority (HEA) North South Research Programme – Cyber Unite Project, with a scholarship valued at €130,000 over four years (September 2026 – 2030).
