ClemOn Uni Campus Cricket Season 2 Successfully Held at World University of Bangladesh

The much-anticipated ClemOn Uni Campus Cricket Season 2 was successfully held on 19–20 May 2026 at the university’s central sports field

 of the World University of Bangladesh. The two-day tournament brought together students from various academic disciplines in a vibrant celebration of sportsmanship, teamwork, and university spirit.

A total of 14 departments from the university participated in the tournament, making the event highly competitive and exciting for both players and spectators. Throughout the competition, students demonstrated remarkable enthusiasm, discipline, and athletic excellence.

In the thrilling grand finale, the Department of Mechanical Engineering emerged as the champion after defeating the Department of Civil Engineering in a competitive final match. The Mechanical Department displayed outstanding teamwork and performance to secure the championship title of the tournament.

Apart from the championship award, several special recognitions were also presented to celebrate excellence both on and off the field. The Department of Textile Engineering earned the prestigious Fair Play Award while the Department of Law received the Best Supporter Department Award.

Following the conclusion of the matches, an official prize-giving ceremony was held in the presence of the university’s respected dignitaries. The Honorable Pro Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. M. Nurul Islam, and Professor Zaki Imam, Registrar; along with other organizers, distributed prizes and trophies among the winners and participants. In their speeches, they appreciated the efforts of the organizers and emphasized the importance of extracurricular activities and sports in developing leadership, unity, and a healthy campus culture among students.

The successful arrangement of the tournament created a festive atmosphere across the campus and strengthened interdepartmental friendship and collaboration among students.
