The
Department of Business Administration at the World University of Bangladesh
organized a memorable farewell program for the MBA graduates of Summer 2025 on
Friday, 15 August 2025. The event brought together faculty members and
graduating students in a warm and celebratory atmosphere.
The
program began with an inaugural speech by Abdullah Mohammad Sharif, Assistant
Professor, who shared fond memories with the students and reflected on their
journey at the university.
Mohammed
Shaiful Hannan, Joint Controller of Examinations, congratulated the graduates
on completing their MBA program. He remarked that while this marks the end of
one chapter, it is also the beginning of a new journey where the graduates are
expected to flourish in their professional and personal endeavors.
Prof. Zaki Imam, Registrar of the
World University of Bangladesh, encouraged the graduates to remain connected
with their alma mater, emphasizing that alumni will always be an integral part
of the university community.
Faculty
members, including Dr. Kamal Hossain and Priyanka Das Dona, offered valuable
guidance and recalled memorable classroom moments, while Dr. Selim Ahmed, in
his concluding remarks, advised students to uphold lifelong learning and
thanked all contributors to the event.
Students also shared heartfelt
experiences and provided constructive suggestions for departmental development.
The event was anchored by Md. Azim, Assistant Professor, who urged the
graduates to uphold the reputation of WUB and remain engaged with the
university.
As
a token of remembrance, crests were presented to the graduates. The program
concluded with a group photo session and a lunch with faculty members and
students.
