It is a great pleasure to announce that World University of Bangladesh (WUB) is going to have the foundation stone laying ceremony of its permanent campus on 3rd November 2011 at Asulia, Dhaka. Mr. Nurul Islam Nahid, MP, Hon’ble Minister, Ministry of Education, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh has given his kind consent to remain present as chief guest, while M. Nazrul Islam Khan, Secretary & Personal Secretary1 to Honorable Prime Minister, Sheikh Hasina; Professor Dr. Pran Gopal Datta, Vice Chancellor, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU); Professor Dr. M. Nurul Islam, Vice Chancellor, Mawlana Bhasani Science and Technology University (MBSTU); Major Gen (Retd.) Helal Morshed Khan, Bir Bikram, PSC, Chairman, Muktijoddha Sangsad Central Command Council and Professor Dr. Mohammad Anwar Hossain, President of Dhaka University Teachers’ Association (DUTA) will remain present as special guests. Vice Chancellor of WUB Professor Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury will preside over the programme.
