Any Student whose University financial account is clear may obtain a copy of his/her academic record at WUB, or request a copy be sent to a third party, by completing a Transcript Request Form or providing other signed consent. A transcript may be requested in person or by mail. A reason must be specified in writing to the Registrar and the name & address of recipient must be provided for the issue of the transcript.

What is an Official Transcript?

A transcript is a comprehensive record of a student's academic performance as recorded by the faculty including courses transferred, special credit, credit by exam, and degrees awarded.

Official transcripts are printed on Security paper and are embossed with the WUB seal and signature of the Registrar.

How to Order your Transcript

In Person - To receive a copy of your transcript, all financial obligations to the WUB must be clear/current. If you have any past balance due with any offices, there will be a "hold" on your record and we will not be able to issue your transcript. If you think you might have any past debt to any of these offices, please contact that office for clearance before sending your transcript request. If you are unsure about any possible account holds, give us a call and we can check the status for you.

If requesting in person, complete a Transcript Request Form (available in our office) and submit it, along with a valid photographic ID to a Representative in our office.

Cost - Transcripts are currently charged at TK. 3000/- each. By Mail - Contact our office to follow the procedure to order transcripts by mail Transcript Delivery -

• All transcripts are sent to the name & address of the recipient as mentioned in the 'Transcript Request Form'.
• Mail-in requests, once received are processed and mailed the following business day.

Special Services Hold Service for Currently Enrolled Students

For students currently enrolled, the Office of the Registrar can hold your transcript request until your current semester grades or degrees have been processed. This service is offered beginning four (4) weeks prior to the end of classes. When submitting a reqeust during this time, please let us know if you want us to hold it for your grades or degrees or if you would prefer that we mail it immediately.

Things that Prohibit Transcript Release

• The following items will prevent your request from being processed.
• No Signature on your request - it cannot be processed without your signature.
• Account encumbrances or outstanding University obligations
• Insufficient, inaccurate, or illegible identification information.

• Insufficient payment, payment in non-Bangladesh/US Currency, failure to sign your check, a stale-dated or post-dated check that cannot be honoured by a bank.
