The program was organized by WUBEC to connect a bridge between current members and alumni of the club. The program was divided into two parts. In the first part, the ex-students, mostly who are entrepreneurs now expressed their gratitude to the university and their teachers. They have also discussed their career and their stories of being an entrepreneur. Besides they also suggest the current members about the opportunities those are available to start a business in Bangladesh. Dr Selim Ahmed, Head, World School of Business, World University of Bangladesh was present as the Chief Guest of the program, Professor Md. Moqbul Hossain, Program Director, World School of Business, World University of Bangladesh was the Special Guest. The program was presided over by Ujjal Yaman Chowdhury, Senior Lecturer, World School of Business, World University of Bangladesh.
The seminar was specially arranged for the students who have the desire to become successful entrepreneurs one day. The keynote speaker of the seminar H.M. Foyez Morshed, Founder and Managing Director of Tech Republic Bangladesh in his speech focused on the opportunities and obstacles that a young entrepreneur might face in starting a business in Bangladesh. He also emphasized the personal characteristics of an entrepreneur that help him/her to create a clean image in the market place. The Chairperson of the seminar Honourable Chief Advisor, Professor Dr Musfiq M. Choudhury focused on the significance of technology in modern business and the importance of artificial intelligence in modern life. Professor Dr M. Nurul Islam, Pro-Vice Chancellor, World University of Bangladesh graced the program as the Chief Guest of the seminar and Professor Md. Moqbul Hossain, Program Director, World School of Business, and Dr Selim Ahmed, Head, World School of Business of World University of Bangladesh were present as special guests of the program.
Panam City is an ancient historical city in Bangladesh. It is situated at Sonargaon, Narayangonj in Bangladesh. The history of the city is closely connected with Baro-Bhuyan. Panam City is one of the most visited tourist spots in Bangladesh. The city was the capital of ruler Isa Khan and played significant roles for trading and commerce of that period. The city covers the architecture of the Sultanate, Mughal, and colonial periods. The Panam City, located near the present-day capital of Dhaka, includes several Mughal monuments. British colonial architecture is also preserved in Sonargaon. For Businessmen and travellers making their way along the 2,500-kilometer Grand Trunk Road from Peshawar in the Hindu Kush, Sonargaon marked the end of the line. As a co-organizer with WUBBC and BTHM Club WUBEC organized this tour to introduce the members with the golden history of prosperity in business and trade of Bangladesh.
WUBEC arranged the seminar as a co-organizer with other two clubs of World School of Business. Successful Online Entrepreneur and CEO of Ten Minute School Ayman Sadiq and Shohag Mia, who is the founder and CEO of Shohag 360-The Tech Doctor were present as keynote speakers of the program. Both the key speakers focused on the importance of using the Internet and its applications to build a successful career globally. Eminent scholar and Honourable Vice Chancellor of World University of Bangladesh Professor Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury was the chief guest of the seminar. Morsheda Choudhury, Treasurer, World University of Bangladesh and Chief Advisor of World University of Bangladesh Professor Dr. Musfiq Mannan Choudhury were present as the special guests of the program. World University of Bangladesh Entrepreneurship Club (WUBEC) started its journey in July 2018. The club aims to develop and promote both entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship among the university students and alumni in the creation and development of startups through entrepreneurial education and skill development process based on teamwork, innovation and inspiration to make them proactive and calculative risk taker while staying in touch with reality. Eminent scholar and honourable Vice Chancellor of World University of Bangladesh Professor Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury is the founder Chairman of the Club, Ujjal Yaman Chowdhury, Senior Lecturer, World School of Business, is the Moderator. The current President of the club is Fuad Hasan Abrar, Vice President is Md. Rezwan Shoron, General Secretary is Mehedi Hashan Hridoy and Assistant General Secretary is Shahed Parvez.
