World University of Bangladesh has observed the martyrs day on 14th of December 2011. The program started at the morning of 14th December, Professor Abdul Mannan Choudhury along with the faculty, staffs and students of World University of Bangladesh visited the Mirpur Shaheed Buddhijibi Memorial and paid homage to the martyrs, who were brutally killed by the Pakistani army. Pakistani military killed all the renowned intellectuals of this land to paralyze this nation.

Every year on this occasion people pay their homage to the martyrs, who were the best leaders, doctors, writers, columnist of this land.
